Unlike traditional PC connected to scanners which require your PC to be operating, scanner to be on, scanner software to be loaded and a fairly manually intensive process PaperAct is simple and quick to operate and single or multiple pages are scanned, OCR’d (optical character recognition), PDF’d, indexed and saved at the push of a button.

The PaperAct ScanStation Allows you to:

• Select destination User and User Folder to which the scanned document will be sent to
• Add document properties (including Document Name, Document Date and Tags) prior to scanning
• Batch application of selected Tags to be applied
• 5 button functions for Simplex, Duplex, Simplex Staple and Duplex Staple and Stop Staple scan actions
• Create profiles for both scanner settings and meta data
• Selective (zone) OCR – specify area/zone of the scanned pages to be Optically Recognised (OCR) and Indexed for searching.
